The friendly crew at the Seven Oakes Inn on Change Island, Newfoundland. The food was all homemade, fresh bread daily and fresh jams daily from local rhubarb, blueberries, and cloudberries! Yesterday we caught the ferry to Fogo Island and tested out two great hikes. One received a four star rating and the other a five star, it had stunning views over the ocean, lots of blueberries, caribou, rainbow, and a stunning sunset over looking the town of Fogo.
Lunch was at the impressive Fogo Island Inn in Joe Batts Arm www.fogoislandinn.ca which was designed by Todd Saunders a local Newfoundlander but now residing in Norway.
