Welcome to Wild Wales Tours!

In 2025 Wild Wales Tours & Walkabouts will be be leading Walkabouts in Wales as well as in Newfoundland! Newfoundland and Labrador is the most easterly province in Canada, and the strait of Belle Isle separates the Island of Newfoundland from the mainland of North America. While on a Newfoundland walkabout in 2004 I became fascinated with it's people and history. Wild Wales Tours & Walkabouts will now be leading custom trips to Newfoundland for eight to ten people.

This past September, Wild Wales Tours led a four-day tour around Wales for the fans of the American author, Sarah Woodbury. Sarah has written more than 40 historical novels set in medieval Wales. Enthusiastic readers of Sarah's novels traveled from seven different countries to visit historical sites featured in her books. Sarah will be featured in an upcoming short documentary film on King Arthur, produced by Wild Wales Tours.

Please contact us if you would like to have a custom bus trip or Walkabout in Newfoundland, or the Snowdonia National Park in Wales, led by native Welsh-speaking guides in 2025 and 2026. We can arrange your trip for groups of eight or more, and visit the sites that are of the greatest interest to you. Create a special trip for your special group, family or book club!

Kind regards, and a good spring and summer to you all!

During the day we will take in incredible sights, including Snowdonia National Park, castles, abbey ruins, Roman structures, Pryseli Hills, rugged coastlines with crashing waves and sandy beaches. Many of the woodlands will be carpeted with Bluebells in May, and August and September will bring purple heather on the mountains. By night we will dine in pubs and taverns, taking in the sounds of local choirs, traditional folk music and storytelling. With us you will not be another face in the crowd; you will have the opportunity to mingle with the locals.
