Geology, Welsh Plants, and Young Writers
During our Walkabout in May we had one guest interested in the geology of Wales, these stones were all picked up off the same beach at Aberdaron on the Lleyn Peninsular next to our guest house. We also had a guest who is a nurse who administers herbal medicine. We identified many natural plants along the pathways and back roads including Valerian (growing along the wall), Foxglove (Digitalis), Thrift (Armeria maritima), Ox-eye Daisy (white flowers). Next spring we will have an aspiring young writer who is interested in writing Victorian stories and is also in visiting haunted houses. We will certainly accommodate her and give her a memorable experience!
