Excellent team work yesterday with our Walkabout group getting up to the Bronze/Iron Age Fort at Tre Ceiri on the Lleyn Peninsular. The Romans never conquered this stronghold of the Welsh Nation during their lengthy occupation of Wales.(A.D.79-410). Picture at trailhead of the crew surrounded by clouds and fog, we stayed close together, mid day the wind picked up from the west and by the time we were on the summit the sun appeared! Picture of us leaving on the train this morning to hike in the Snowdonia National Park. Tomorrow we will hike the Mawddach Estuary from Penmaenpool to Barmouth.
