Hiking in Wales

Wild Wales Tours & Walkabouts will have a booth at the Midwestern Mountain Equipment Travel Expo in Minneapolis this Friday-Sunday. We will give a presentation on Wales and hiking in Snowdonia at 1p.m. on Saturday. Last week our Wild Wales Walkabout team got together in Ireland & Pembrokeshire, South Wales to create an exciting seven nights and eight days Walkabout. Two nights in downtown Dublin, train ride down the east coast of The Emerald Isle to Wexford & ferry ride to Fishguard, South Wales across the Irish Sea. We will stay in St Davids at a small family cozy guest house for three nights and walk the Welsh Coastal Path along the rugged shore visiting many a holy well site along the way. These ancient pathways have been used for thousands of years by pilgrims on their journeys. St Davids Cathedral, mural of St David and Green Man at the cathedral. We will be joined by storytellers along the way to share the lore and history of the wells. Our two last nights will be spent at the medieval walled seaside town of Tenby.
