The Search for King Arthur
The legend of King Arthur has been discussed for over 800 years since Geoffrey of Monmouth’s 12th century History of the Kings Of Britain. The National Library of Wales in Aberystwyth is one of the main centers of Arthurian studies today. Last year they showcased an exhibit of ancient Aruthian texts in Welsh, Latin, French, Cornish and English. October 2018 and May of 2019 Wild Wales Walkabouts will be leading the way on an eight day hiking search for this Legendary Warrior! We will be presenting on these trips this weekend, Sunday April 29, at 1p.m.at the University of Minnesota in Hanson Hall. This event is part of the Midwest Mountaineering Equipment Expo on Cedar Ave in Minneapolis.
