Castle y Bere Hike

Sitting atop Castle y Bere the largest and most elaborate native stronghold built by Llewelyn the Great in the 1220’s. This impressive Welsh stronghold was to maintain control between the Dyfi and Mawddach estuaries and the mountain road over Cader Idris to Dolgellau.
