Yesterday our Walkabout team hiked up in the Rhiniog Mountains in the Snowdonia National Park and met up with the Giants Face! Later we visited Bryn Mawr the homestead of Rowland Ellis the Quaker who immigrated to America in 1686. Bryn Mawr was one of the first institutions of higher education in the United States to offer graduate degrees, including doctorates, to women. The college was named after Ellis home that sits on the hillside above the medieval town of Dolgellau in the National Park. Lichen along the way yesterday.
